Norah Jones-Chief Feline Officer

Norah Jones (the cat, not the Grammy winner… though the resemblance is uncanny) proudly oversees all executive operations at Photos by Yeti. When she’s not supervising editing sessions with her impeccable taste in vibes-only music, she’s managing customer concerns using her signature W.H.O. C.A.R.E.S. system — a revolutionary approach that mostly involves taking naps and ignoring emails.

Ask her where her favorite weddings take place and she’ll tell you, without hesitation: the beach. Not for the romance, not for the scenery — but because “there’s usually fish involved.”

On a real note, Norah wandered into a wedding I photographed in 2023 and immediately decided she was part of the team. Naming her after my favorite singer felt right. And yes — the actual Norah Jones knows about her feline namesake.

Vanessa — Creative Director, Posing Whisperer & The Human Who Keeps Yeti Functioning

Vanessa is the creative heartbeat of Photos by Yeti — our resident posing whisperer, style guru, and the person most responsible for making sure no one leaves a session wondering what to do with their hands. As both my partner in life and in the studio, she brings an intuitive sense of movement and expression that transforms “I’m awkward in photos” into “Wait… is that really me?”

Outside the studio, Vanessa is an award‑winning Milliner, Costumer, and Burlesque Performer whose work has appeared everywhere from Minneapolis stages to The MET. Through her brand V.Modiste, she creates custom pieces that routinely cause people to gasp, applaud, or reconsider their entire wardrobe.

She’s also our secret weapon during boudoir planning — offering styling guidance, confidence‑boosting support, and the kind of calm, grounded presence that makes clients feel instantly at ease. If anyone can help you find your angles, your energy, and your inner “I’ve got this,” it’s her.

I first saw Vanessa onstage, absolutely commanding the room. Now I get to watch her command poses, creativity, and occasionally my sanity. It’s been a spectacular adventure ever since.

Yeti- Chief Photography Officer

Meet Joseph Yetman - affectionately known as Yeti — a seasoned photographer with over 14 years of experience and nearly 400 weddings captured across the globe, from Hungary to Slovenia. Known for his detailed eye, inclusive approach, and authentic storytelling, Yeti brings more than technical skill to the table — he brings heart, humanity, and humor.

At his core, Yeti is a people person. He thrives in spaces of connection and emotion, whether he's photographing bubbly newlyweds, soulful family portraits, or high-energy concerts under the iHeartRadio banner. His work spans weddings, boudoir, commercial sessions, and nonprofit storytelling — all delivered with the same signature blend of precision and personality.

His passion for real, raw moments is perhaps best exemplified through The Isaac Initiative, a project he founded after photographing a terminally ill child and his family in hospice. Though the organization ended for personal wellness reasons in 2021, the emotional impact of that experience still informs Yeti’s work today — encouraging him to document not just milestones, but the meaning behind them.

When he’s not shooting weddings (35–40 weekends a year, and yes, often for the cake), Yeti is building community, advocating for thoughtful storytelling, and creating space for people to be fully seen. He’s also a proud member of the Twin Cities Professional Photography Association.
