TEAM YETI
Norah Jones-Chief Feline Officer
In addition to mixing some sweet music to edit photos to, our cat Norah Jones handles most of the executive functions of our company. Her favorite aspect of her job is handling customer complaints with her patented, "W.H.O. C.A.R.E.S." system. When asked where her favorite weddings are held, she replies, "On the beach. There's guaranteed to be fish for dinner."
On a serious note, Norah was a stray at a wedding I was photographing in 2023. It only seemed appropriate to name her after my favorite singer. Fun fact, the original Norah Jones knows about our kitty, Norah.
Vanessa-Assistant & Boudoir Creative Consultant
Vanessa brings an exceptional blend of creativity and expertise to our little team at PBY. As a distinguished lighting assistant and my romantic partner, she enhances our photography sessions with her artistic vision. Her talents extend beyond lighting; she is also a celebrated Milliner, Costumer, and Burlesque Performer, receiving accolades for her innovative designs. Based in Minneapolis, MN, Vanessa's work has graced prestigious venues, including The MET, and she continues to make custom costumes under her brand, V.Modiste. Additionally, she is a trusted resource for clients during their boudoir session planning, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience. I first encountered Vanessa's captivating performances as an audience member, and it's been a remarkable journey ever since.
Yeti- Chief Photography Officer
Meet Joseph Yetman - affectionately known as Yeti — a seasoned photographer with over 14 years of experience and nearly 400 weddings captured across the globe, from Hungary to Slovenia. Known for his detailed eye, inclusive approach, and authentic storytelling, Yeti brings more than technical skill to the table — he brings heart, humanity, and humor.
At his core, Yeti is a people person. He thrives in spaces of connection and emotion, whether he's photographing bubbly newlyweds, soulful family portraits, or high-energy concerts under the iHeartRadio banner. His work spans weddings, boudoir, commercial sessions, and nonprofit storytelling — all delivered with the same signature blend of precision and personality.
His passion for real, raw moments is perhaps best exemplified through The Isaac Initiative, a project he founded after photographing a terminally ill child and his family in hospice. Though the organization ended for personal wellness reasons in 2021, the emotional impact of that experience still informs Yeti’s work today — encouraging him to document not just milestones, but the meaning behind them.
When he’s not shooting weddings (35–40 weekends a year, and yes, often for the cake), Yeti is building community, advocating for thoughtful storytelling, and creating space for people to be fully seen. He’s also a proud member of the Twin Cities Professional Photography Association.
If you’re looking for images that are as real as your relationships — grounded in care, honesty, and detail — Yeti is the one to call.
